WAVE Equity Partners will focus on financially and environmentally sustainable Cleantech investments that offer the opportunity for attractive returns. Market estimates suggest that over $10 trillion will be invested in Cleantech infrastructure over the next twenty years. The scope of innovation, investment, and wealth creation is predicted to eclipse the scope of the Internet and telecommunication revolutions. WAVE welcomes partnerships with startup companies that share the following characteristics: 1. Early stage companies that have achieved technology breakthroughs that are ripe for commercialization; 2. They have generated a small amounts of commercial revenue or no revenue; 3. They have not already raised a significant amount of equity from other institutional investors; 4. They have secured significant IP rights to lock their technology gains; 5. Their core technologies can be profitably applied to multiple Cleantech markets globally; 6. These markets are experiencing a strong demand pull. WAVE can deploy up to $75M to commercialize one core technology in multiple markets. In combination with project capital and equity from other sources, the total investment can scale to several times that. |
